Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of KATANORA's website, applications, and automated short-form video services, operated by KATANORA LLC. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

In short: KATANORA connects to your video accounts to automatically detect, clip, caption, and publish short-form video content on your behalf. You control which accounts are connected and can disconnect at any time.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. You're responsible for maintaining accurate account information and safeguarding your credentials.

2. The Service

KATANORA connects to third-party platforms you authorize to monitor source channels, identify clip-worthy segments, generate vertical clips, and publish them to your connected accounts. You control which accounts are connected and may disconnect at any time.

3. Free Trial & Billing

Unless canceled before the trial ends, you'll be automatically charged per your selected plan. Charges recur until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing cycle; charges already incurred are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Your Content & Connected Accounts

You retain ownership of your source content and generated clips. You grant KATANORA a limited license to process and publish that content solely to provide the Service, only to accounts you've authorized.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to publish infringing, unlawful, or fraudulent content, violate connected platforms' policies, or use the Service to manipulate engagement metrics.

6. Third-Party Platforms

The Service integrates with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and others via their APIs. Your use remains subject to each platform's own terms. KATANORA is not responsible for changes or restrictions imposed directly by those platforms.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY PARTICULAR LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT OR PERFORMANCE FOR GENERATED CLIPS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KATANORA LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms or if required by a connected platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will update the effective date above.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
